Yellow Rose Campground Rules and Regulations:

Camping:

~All persons entering the campground property must stop and register at the campground office.

~Campers must be at least 18 years of age to register, and must be able to furnish identification showing proof of age.

~The camper who signs the registrations is responsible for the conduct of all members of their camping party, all guests, and all pets.

~All members of camping party under the age of 18 must be supervised ~All campers will occupy and place any camping equipment only within their designated campsite.

~The owners and management of the Yellow Rose Campground assume no responsibility for loss by fire, theft, accident, or act of God while in our park. Use of any and all facilities is at your own risk.

~Seasonal campers will be charged an additional $50 per month if they are utilizing any additional appliances not included in their self-contained camping unit (such as a separate refrigerator).

~Seasonal rate of $995 is only valid for campers who pay for the entire season by May 15. Campers who do not pay by May 15 will be transferred to a monthly rate, as established by the price schedule. Monthly payments are due by the 4th day of the month being paid for.

~Campers (monthly) who do not make payment arrangements by the 4th of the month will have their camping unit disconnected from electrical input and the camping unit will be removed from the campsite.

~All vehicles and/or equipment must fit within the designated camping space. Any additional vehicles or equipment (boats, etc.) must be parked in a spot designated by campground management.

Campfires:

~All fires must be built within the provided fire ring.

~Do not cut any trees within the campground, but feel free to use any wood that is already downed.

~Do not leave fires unattended.

~Avoid large fires (more than 2 feet in height), and pay heed to local no-burn warnings.

General Behavior:

~Quiet time is to be observed from 11 PM until 8 AM.

~No person shall deface or remove campground signs, structures, equipment or barriers.

~Garbage must be disposed of properly. Garbage should be placed in plastic bags, secured, and placed in the dumpster near the main office. Recyclables should be kept separate and placed in the blue barrel near the dumpster.

~Possession or use of fireworks or firearms is prohibited on campground property.

~This is a family campground, and language and behavior should be conducted as such.

~New York state law prohibits alcohol possession or consumption by anyone under the age of 21.

~Parents/caretakers should ensure that their children follow all prescribed safety rules when riding bicycles, scooters, etc. Helmets should be worn along with any applicable safety gear.

~Smoking is prohibited within any building on campground property.

~Please do not walk your dogs or allow your children to walk or play within other campers sites.

~Use of ATV’s, golf carts, motorized scooters, or any other mechanized form of transportation is prohibited within Yellow Rose Campground property. Yellow Rose Campground assumes no responsibility for any damage or injury caused by any person who is using equipment not owned or sanctioned by the campground establishment.

~No campground equipment should be used without management approval.

~Do not place nails in the campground trees.

~All cigarette butts should be property disposed of. Please do not throw them on the ground or in the toilets.

~Vehicular maintenance (oil changes, etc.) will not be permitted at Yellow Rose Campground.

Pets:

~No pets are allowed in any public buildings within the campground property.

~Pets must be leashed or confined so they are restricted to the campsite of the pet's owner.

~Do not leave dogs unattended.

~All pet messes must be cleaned up promptly.

~Dogs should have all proper vaccinations and a copy of such should be provided to the campground office upon check-in.

Misc.:

~Any sheds or other buildings must be temporary (easily removed), and be securely tethered to the ground to ensure that they remain stable in strong winds. Placement of buildings should not infringe upon bordering sites or impede other campers ability to enjoy their own sites.

~Any play pools must be less than 18" deep and in an area that is easily watched by the pool’s owner. If possible, the pools should be emptied when the campsite is to remain unoccupied for more than two days.

~Clotheslines must be high enough to avoid any passersby from inadvertently walking into them and should be marked with bright colored ribbons or paint to alert others to their presence.

~Any use of golf carts, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, etc. will be at the camper's own risk. Yellow Rose Campground assumes no responsibility for any injury incurred while a camper is utilizing any outside equipment.

~An additional parking area is available for extra vehicles, boats/trailers. This area is to be used at the camper's own risk. Yellow Rose Campground assumes no responsibility for any damage of any kind that should occur to any equipment left at the campground property.
